I have experience representing high-end builders and assisting with developments and also working closely with relocation companies who are transferring clients into Baton Rouge, or moving them out of Baton Rouge.
I have expertise in all aspects of real estate, representing buyers and sellers of distinctive properties. Building on a reputation through hard work, client advocacy and innovative thinking, I set my expectations high. As a savvy negotiator, I manage the transaction through closing with confidence and ease. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, I have strong ties to this great city and believe my knowledge of our capital and surrounding areas is without bounds! Having an education in Art History at Louisiana State University and having worked in Interior Design, my services go beyond finding a house to make your new home.

I’m Josh McKay, the Co-Team Leader of the Thorning McKay Team at RE/MAX Professional in Baton Rouge, LA. Together with my wife, Leighton Thorning McKay, we form a dynamic duo dedicated to providing exceptional real estate services. As a proud Baton Rouge native, I have deep roots in the community. I graduated from Catholic High School in Baton Rouge in 1996 and later earned my degree from LSU in 2000.
